International House

International House - New Orleans, LA - Hotel Discounts at International House - Hotel Information:
The experts at Travel & Leisure magazine say that if New Orleans is the country's best place to party, then the International House is the city's best place to sleep it off. The "hippiest lodging to hit the city," as Zagat called it, the International House one block from the party-down French Quarter and the Central Business District puts guests right in the middle of the action. The area also includes within two miles the Superdome, Harrah's Casinos, the Morial Convention Center and the 19th-century St. Charles Avenue streetcar.

The International is home to the French-Vietnamese restaurant, Lemon Grass, a local fav, and Loa, a candlelit bar named after the voodoo word for "divine spirit." Guests also will discover plenty of dining options in and around the French Quarter to satisfy every culinary curiosity, from Cajun and Creole to steak and sushi.
